First off, I LOVE the family picture!!
Hubby is off for the summer, so we'll have lots of fun together! I plan on making memories with the grandkids, too--lots of going to the zoo, movies, and ice cream moments.
Now, I'll just have to figure out how to squeeze in some work time. :-)
Four more days of school and then we begin summer vacation. Yipee!
Daughter J is going to camp and has a friend from the States coming to visit. 5 or 6 friends are passing through, so we'll spend time with them. We're thinking about a short summer trip, but don't know where we'll go yet.
I've got TONS of work to do over the summer with transcripts and report card updates...but if I chip away at that a bit each day, it shouldn't be too bad.
Actually, for fun, I'm thinking of doing the July Novel Writing Month thing.... (NaNoWriMo in July!) Here's hoping that I can come up with a good idea in the next two weeks! :)
Sounds like a fun summer Di! You too, Pam! I hope you do the NaNoWriMo thing. Lot's of people have done it and loved it.
that is a nice picture of your family. :)
hope ya have a cool summer!
and Diann,
I hope U too can make some AWESome memories, with your grandkids!
I am not doing anything so lofty as writing a novel. Instead, I will be spending most of the summer knitting and crocheting baby stuff for our new grandchild who is due to be born around the end of August. At the same time I am knitting a twin-size afghan for our 1st grandchild who is now in a "big boy" bed. So bored I will not be! (Pray that my poor arthritic and achy hands will hold up under the challenges ahead.)
Great family photo!
My summer plans are writing and getting the house in order.
Blessings,
Jodie
Ruthie, what fun!
Jodie, good luck with the writing and organization! Wishing you all a wonderful summer!
