Girls Write Out

Thanks so much for all your feedback on the cover. Thomas Nelson has reworked it and come up with this beauty:

As excited as I am to give away the Kindle to our readers, and I love my Kindle, I do hope it doesn't change this process too much. Or make a cover unnecessary because let's face it, we all choose a book by its cover. At least, we have at one time. It's the art that brings the book to life in a very special way. I don't want to let that go.

Me, too. I love Mel's hairy face. For some reason, this one looked best to me without it.

Oh no I never thought about that! I love to read on my Kindle but I still use the covers of the books to choose. I go to the bookstore or CBD catalog and look at the covers of the books and check out the back blurbs. Even on blogs it is often the cover that draws me. We Kindle owners still need book covers!

I hadn't thought about it either until I saw this great cover and thought, hey, there are no covers on my Kindle, but I still choose them by reviews and covers I'll read in magazines and the CBD catalog, so I'd be seriously upset without covers!

I agree. I love the covers and the feel of a book. I'm hoping one day, Kindle will incorporate color and book covers. I recently bought a Kindle, and I love it. But it will never replace the feel of a real book. And besides, you can't take it to the bathtub with you.

I love your cover!
