Butterfly Palace new 195x300

Hey friends, Butterfly Palace released today! If you read digitally, the Nook, Kindle, etc copy is only $4.99 for a short time so grab it while you can! I call it Downton Abbey meets Jane Eyre. It’s very atmospheric and has a bit of a gothic feel so I’m eager to hear what you think.

I’ve been immersed in the new Downton Abbey season, how about you? I have been gritting my teeth and shouting at the screen for Anna to just be honest. Her behavior is giving me a nervous breakdown. LOL And the dresses this season! Swoon! I’m a jeans girl, but I could be persuaded into a dresses like they’ve all been wearing.

What’s your verdict on the show so far this year? I was about to give it up after Matthew died, but I was quickly immersed into the show again. And I think Mary just made a big mistake in this past episode. :(

I'm not sure about Mary's choice. Yes, he loves her, but there is a quiet strength in Mary. And she loved Matthew so much. It would have disappointed me if she turned away too quickly form his memory. I liked when she said she wasn't ready yet. I'm anxious to see her take her place as half owner of Downton. She above all her sisters loves it.

And the clothes? Swoon! I love the clothes!!!

The times were different then. Mary has a young child to consider and the finances of Downton are iffy. She seems to care for this guy if not love him. I think she made a mistake to completely turn him down. She should have asked for more time or a long engagement. Anna. *sigh* It's for the drama to string it out. I'm sure it will all come out eventually. There aren't nearly enough episodes in a season. LOL

Congratulations on your book release!

My heart breaks for Anna. She needs to tell Bates. They love each other, he loves her so much. He will not accuse her of flirting with the.... male being.... that hurt her. And if the MB stays around, as I'm thinking he will because he is Lord Gingham's valet, then it's only going to get worse.
As for Mary and Lord Gingham,I personally am glad she turned him down. Especially since the night before he proposed he was "basically engaged" to another. Anywho that's my two cents on those situations.

As for YOUR book, it sounds amazing. I can hardly wait to read it. Congrats on the new release.

I don't think he was engaged to the other woman. SHE just assumes they will become engaged (and he realizes she has that assumption but has not confirmed it).

I'm looking forward to reading this one. It just appeared on NetGalley this week and I was approved for it, so now it's waiting patiently on my Kindle. :)

Have a great week!
