Renovating with Kristin

The new kitchen is on top with the black granite and glass tile backsplash over the stove. The original kitchen is that fossil leaf look with the peach sink. Mmm baby.

Thanks Kellie, it sure is a nice place to work now that I don't have to put something down to avoid 40 year old dirt. LOL There just wasn't enough bleach. : )

It looks great!! I love it! The black granite looks awesome w/ the white cabinets.

I've heard that you can put granite right over tile...did you do that?

Okay, I'm the girl in class who got a 0 on the test because I didn't read ALL the directions. :o)

I didn't read that last paragraph where you describe the BEORE AND AFTER part.

I was trying to figure how all 4 of those photos were of the same kitchen and why on earth anyone would put THOSE colors together!

Then I read the last paragraph. Love the AFTER, the BEFORE...not so much. :o)

We didn't put hte granite over the tile. The tile was too heavy and uneven, so we would have had uneven counters. : (

I'm with Tricia. . . photos always draw me in, so I looked, and thought "guess I can say she has an INTERESTING kitchen." ROFL . .. loving the after pics. Think you made a good decision getting rid of the old tile and that sink!
