We're headed back to the Treatment Center for hopefully my LAST treatment!!! Whoohooo!! I have to go back in July where they will do a CT and see if I need anymore, but if everything goes well, this is it! God is so good!!

I don't know where this all will lead me. We know cancer in various forms can crop up time and again, but I'm trusting the Lord every step of the way, come what may. He is Lord in the good times and the bad times. My love for Him is not contingent on whether or not He heals me--though I know that He can! My love for Him is because of who He is!

Anyway, just wanted to thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. You have been an amazing support every step of the way.

Oh, this will make you happy. My husband bought me some eyebrow stencils. :-) No more free-hand drawings, these babies are going to be uniform, doggone it! Not only that, but I bought ANOTHER wig (I have enough to start my own business). It's a short one because my neck got sooooo hot when I was outside. It's not the best look for me, but it sure feels better!!

Speaking of which, how do you keep yourself cool in the summer? Heat is such a struggle for me.

I do just as you do, Diann. Cut my hair--or shorten it somehow ;-)

And I cut off all my jeans and wear cut-offs all summer. And I keep the air conditioner too cool.

Praying for you to get to the center today!

Love the earrings!!! :-) And the wig is cute as can be, too!!

Lowes had a "mister" attachment last year, which they promptly sold out of before I bought one. Sounded lovely though!

Celebrating with you!

Beverly

Diann, you look fabulous! My step-mother-in-law just completed her final round of chemo and has been given a clean bill of health. Praying the same goes for you!

I want a husband who buys me eyebrow stencils!!! That is so cool. I am so happy this is almost over, and I have a good feeling that this is IT> You're DONE with cancer forever. I'm just bummed there were so many treatments, but encouraged by how cute you look doing it.

I wear ice packs in the summer. They're made for the moon, but used in MS. They make vests, etc. My favorite one is one that goes around my neck and down my spine. If I can keep that cool, my MS stays at bay. So I wear it to run up the hill, etc.

I also put in air conditioning last year, which was WAY too expensive, but worth it in this house with no insulation. Here's where you get the vests, etc if anyone is interested:

My Aunt Marilyn just finished ovarian cancer treatment and her hair is growing back. She looks so cute because her hair is growing in curly! Anyway, I'm still praying for you every day and know each day has become precious for you.

I had to chuckle just a little about the eyebrow thing because my mother ALWAYS put her "eyebrows on" because hers were see-through (like mine.) I'm so glad you have been able to deal with that and love your attitude about it.

Curly! See, Diann, I told you! I bet it grows back in curly! HOW FUN!!! And by the time I see you, it should be growing back in. I can't wait to see you!

I think you look adorable in your new wig.

You know what I do to keep cool in the summer, I stay inside where there is air-conditioning! LOL! I hate the heat and in Arkansas it is very, very hot and humid, miserable.

Praying you are totally and completely healed!

We just arrived at our hotel so I could read your comments. They have encouraged me so much, I can't tell you!! I don't know if I'm extra emotional because I was sick yesterday or I'm emotional because this journey, hopefully, is almost over!!

At any rate, I could never put into words how much I've valued your encouragement and prayer through this journey. God has blessed me beyond measure with friends world-wide, all of whom, I do NOT take for granted!

I truly treasure the blessing of your time in prayer and comments. God bless YOU!!

Like everyone else, I believe this is your last treatment EVER!! And I thank God for His goodness and mercy toward you and your entire family.

Also like everyone else, I think your new look is really cute. Not your best look? Hardly!!

To stay cool, I adjust my fan to blow the A/C air toward my recliner where I spend most of my days. As long as I don't budge, I'm nice and cool and happy. ;-)

LOVE the short wig, Di. And eyebrow stencils? Sheesh, I've heard it all now. LOL And I'm a huge fan of big earrings. Praying mightily, girlfriend!

I do love the wig, friend, but I hope with as hot as it is where you are, you are free to be bald and beautiful at home. Nothing like getting out of the shower and letting your scalp air dry :)
