Diann Hunt writes romantic comedy and humorous women's fiction. She has been happily married forever, loves her family, chocolate, her friends, chocolate, her dog, and well, chocolate.
Cheryl Hodde writes romantic medical suspense under the pen name of Hannah Alexander, using all the input she can get from her husband, Mel, for the medical expertise. For fun she hikes and reads. Out of guilt, she rescues discarded cats. She and Mel are presently taking orders from four pampered strays.

I work with teens in drama at chuch. I've never forgotten what it was like to be one, so I really enjoy teenages and get along with them.
I enjoyed my own kids as teenagers. Is that sick or what?
Girls and I went to the American Idol tour. On the pro side were all the clean-cut peeps there, on the con side...were all the clean cut peeps who refused to stand and dance!
Rest assured, the girls and I stood, danced and screamed like fools...much to the chagrin of those polite folks sitting near us ;)
Ane working with teens is fabulous! I love that junior high age, too, and I know that's being a freak of nature. But that is such a crappy time in life, and it can be so fun if you have the right outlook!
Julie, we had friends that went to that concert with their kids too, they had a really great time.
To stay connected to my inner teen, I dab Clean & Clear on my zits. I'm 53. :)
Katy, you have to invest in good facials. At least when we're older we can afford to take care of these things. LOL
My hubby and I listen to the 80's XM station and laugh and share funny stories about it. We didn't know each other as teens, so it is one thing we have in common about times back then.

All I need to do to keep my inner teen alive is watch my 10 year old daughter get dressed in her leggings and long tee shirts.
And once in a while I'll pop Better off Dead into the DVD player and watch John Cusack work his magic.
Travis, you gotta have a little inner teen if you can understand that song! It goes so fast! LOL I have "Sweet Escape" as my ring on my phone and it's embarrassing when it rings, but why change it? It's a fun song. I also run to "Hips Don't Lie" which is sad, but man that Latin music makes you move. LOL
Ya know, I love concerts but for me a chick flick is just the thing. I like watching those stupid Gidget movies or Ozzie & Harriet. I loved Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde. (Is that the name of it?)

Oh, always keep an 80s greatest hits CD handy (make sure it's sung by the original singers). I'm now digging for my 80s pins. Remember when it was cool to have a denim jacket and scatter pins on it? Well, I have been informed by my 15yo that this is IN again and I must find my 'genuine vintage' pins so she can wear them. Yes, there was LOTS crappy about being a teenager but I try to remember the high points. staying up late to watch Friday Night Videos (we didn't have MTV)...
I'm still a teenager, but it's weird being a junior in college and 19. I was always really serious through high school and I felt like I missed out on so much fun. However, I mentor high schoolers during the summer and a lot of them keep in touch throughout the year. I feel like I'm going through the fun parts of high school that I missed, and it's really great! Especially when I can get in my car and DRIVE away when I get tired of it! haha!
oh my gosh - Adam Ant was like totally (hehe) my biggest crush when I was a teen! my bestie Karen and I would listen to him for hours on end and I was determined I was going to marry him when I grew up - and I had pins of him on my jacket! LOL thanks for the memory...=0)
Kristin, I'm a Director of Youth Ministries at my church, so I work with teenagers daily! I love them. I'm only 23, so it wasn't that long ago that I was one of them too. And your'e not a freak of nature if you like Jr Highers. They're my favorite. So fun and have free spirits. The scary part is that being a teenager today is so much harder and scarier than it ever used to be, even 10 years ago when i was one of them!

My flirty grandma would be 104 if she were still alive. She died on her 95th birthday. But you can meet her later ;)
