Diann, I remember going through a really tough time once and felt like I was on the verge of a breakdown. I remember getting some really fun and encouraging news and I said to my girlfriend through the tears, "God knew I needed a little happy."
I'm so thrilled God gave you some happy Saturday night. You deserve it. Continuing to pray for you girlfriend!
You pay it forward every day of your life! This was a little payback!
Well, I'm glad it's not all about you, Di, because I think it's all about ME. ROFLOL
I couldn't be more thrilled about the big win. You deserve it. NOw tell them to put a new cover on that thing!
I was so happy when I found out you had won. I know what needing happy feels like. I did get a box of chocolates to bring to you but alas, I didn't make conference due to my own health issues.
I'll make sure to eat them in your honor. :)
I agree with Colleen, Diann. You do pay it forward and I'm a recipient of that. You deserve the happy and the girls of Hot Tropics deserved it, too!!! ;o)
Diann, it was SO great to see you in Dallas! I didn't know you were coming until the last minute (maybe you didn't either?) And to come and WIN was just awesome! Warmest congrats!!
I can't imagine a more delightful honor than hugging the heck out of you over your win. You deserve all the happy that comes your way! But here's what I want to know: I'm reading through the member directory of ACFW people and it lists your name as PATRICIA. You've asked me my "real name," and now I'm asking you. If you answer, we'll BOTH be happy. :)
Diann--I got the warm fuzzies seeing you standing there in the hallway of the conference, and had to fight tears later when you won. Let the good stuff continue, my friend!
I'm so happy about your win.
Your always in my prayers sweet lady!
Congrats, congrats, congrats, Diann. I am sooooo happy for you. I just saw the results of the BOTY yesterday (finally! whew), and when I saw your name, I was thrilled for you! You're a great writer.
Our Internet is down at home so this is the first chance I've had to respond to your kind responses!
Thank you so much for your continued encouragement and prayers. Today I find out exactly what we're dealing with and where we go from here. I'll let you know if I have to go wig hunting. If I do, I'm going top of the line, baby! Shoot, when all is said and done, I may not want to give it up! *g*
Diann,
Your books have given me something to laugh at and have taken me away from the stresses of life. When I'm down, all I have to do is pull out one of your books. Thank you for that!
My thoughts are with you regarding these health issues.
Congrats on the big win! You go girl!
Diann I am praying for you as well. I noticed on Amazon that they have you putting out a book in January. Are you still going to be able to do it? ( I love your books but we all want you well ;)
Thank you so much for the encouragement, Rhonda!
Brittanie, thankfully that book is already written, so it will be out on time. I do have a November 1 deadline for my current manuscript and I'm struggling to finish. Prayers appreciated!
I know....I cried for you, too. And since I knew you'd won some time ago (had to order the awards) I was jumping for joy when I saw you'd registered! Many blessings, my dear friend...you greatly deserve them all! :D
