Girls Write Out

Okay, forgive me for posting again, but something monumental has happened in our family. We've added a new member!!!

This is truly Kristin's fault. I love the pictures of her dog so much, I just couldn't help myself! Meet the newest member of the Hunt household--Latte. Doesn't that just fit? She is a shih-tzu/poodle mix so they call her a shih-poo. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her.

You all know we lost our last shih-tzu in July. I didn't think I'd ever get another dog. Probably shouldn't have, but when my husband and kids pushed me to look at these puppies, well, I was a goner.

We can't pick her up till April 11th, but until then, I've got her pictures plastered as wallpaper on my laptop. :-)

Goodbye carpet, hello lifetime friend!

How precious! I love her coloring! I have a multipoo and the poodle part gives a very cute personality. I'm a gonner for a ball of fluff too! Good for you! Enjoy!

How cute! I love the shih-poo name! My husband and I have a chug (pug/chihuahua mix). It's kinda funny...all the new "mix" names that are around now.

I should have known it was Jim and the kids' fault. LOL No one can resist a puppy so it's safer not to look. But boy, is she cute!

Carpet can be replaced. My friend's niece got a Chiweenie. Isn't that cute? It's a Chihuahua and a wiener dog. LOL

I'm so glad you did, Di! I felt teh same when we lost our old dog, but the hubs and son couldn't stand not having one.

But at least your carpet will only get ruined in tiny spots. Sure you wouldn't like to have a mastiff?

When they teeth, they use window sills and drywall. We still need to replace a couple of window sills. And NO - no one told us about that part.

Funny thing is, though, we wouldnt' part with him for anything. :)

I wish you could see him when the people come for our Friday night Bible study. He thinks they all came just to see him. LOL If they don't walk inside fast enough, he gets behind them and pushes them in the door.

Latte is adorable! Shadrach would lick her until she melted. :D

Congratulations, Diann! My four year old just walked up to the computer and said, "aah...she's beautiful!!" Definitely a consensus, here. I love the carpet comment....how true, how true....but I love the sage wisdom---it can all be replaced! Just think of all the free entertainment you'll get in the meantime!

Ohhhh! She is so cute! And she looks so soft and cuddling. Ohhhh. (I'm totally melting into a puddle at the computer right now. :)

She is too cute! Great name too! How can you wait? When I got my pup, almost 2 years ago now, I had a choice of either a shih-poo or a malte-poo. I took the Maltese-Poodle mix (didn't really look at the others because they weren't ready to leave their mom). I do love a mixed breed. Both of the pure Shih-tzus we've had have had issues with skin allergies and such. I still haven't gotten that new carpet I wanted.
