God's goodness is always overwhelming but sometimes it seems he just opens the windows of blessing and pours it out. This week is one of those times for me. You've all been praying for my Dave, and God chose to answer YES to those prayers. His surgery went better than we even dared hope today. The surgeon said his prostate and lymph glands looked normal to the naked eye, and he was sure the cancer was contained. Dave is resting in the hospital now and should get out tomorrow, so THANK YOU for all your faithful prayers! Labels: Dave's surgery, God is good

So delighted to hear of Dave's prognosis...and of the coming grandbaby.
I needed good news today. I had knee surgery last Thursday and was healing right on schedule. Last night I nearly fell and put my entire weight on the wounded leg, causing more than considerable pain. Fortunately, no damage was done but my healing process was pushed back to nearly square one. I was so bummed...I don't do pain well and I HATE not being able to keep to my normal routines. Your news was the bright spot in an otherwise gloomy and frustrating day.
However, God is good ALL the time; He is still on His throne and in control!

Wonderful news!!! And a new baby soon! You are blessed. Yes, we try to do something weekly to give God's grace to someone. We put together Easter baskets for children who are less fortunate. My church had over 300 baskets! What a joy to be able to give a treat on the day Jesus came back and minister as well.
