Finally, after over 2 years, we have another book out! The title is The Wedding Kiss, and it's a romantic suspense set in our beloved Jolly Mill, MO, only a few miles from where we live. You can see the copy of the book on the sidebar of the home page. Some artist did a fabulous job with the cover, and I'm thrilled with it!
The Wedding Kiss is one of two books that are launching a new historical line with Summerside/Guidepost books. The other book was written by our friend, Margaret Daley, and we have been so excited about doing this together that we decided to run a contest together, including both our books. Check my website, www.hannahalexander.com for the rules of the contest. There will be a question from each book that needs to be answered. All correct answers for both books will be entered into a drawing, and on Oct. 31 of this year, five winners will be chosen for a four-night condo resort stay from Monday through Friday. Winners will have their choice of several times and places.
So look for The Wedding Kiss, by Hannah Alexander; as well as From This Day Forward, by Margaret Daley. Find the answers to the questions you receive on our website, and take a chance for a wonderful trip. Tell your friends, because if they win, maybe they'll take you along!
We're excited. I hope you are, too. Even if you like to stay at home and just read about the excitement of other characters, you can have a choice of a free book from us if you so desire.
Get ready for some fun! Any questions?

How fun! Congratulations on the release - I'll have to check it out! Eureka Springs is one of my favorite little towns - I visited there years ago and fell in love with the layout and the shops. I keep wanting to go back, but haven't made it yet.
I spent so much time in Eureka Springs years ago that I had the place memorized. Did you attend the Great Passion Play, Tracy? One of my first books was set there, and while my girlfriend and I were researching--discussing how one might fall to his death backstage--a rather frightening woman came charging out of one of the doors and bellowed, "What's going on out here?"
We quickly explained what we were doing, and it turned out she was the one who dressed the man who played Jesus. She gave us all kinds of info that was useful for the book. I love research. ;-)
What a great story, Cheryl! And yes, research is so fun!
No, we weren't there long enough to make it to the Passion Play. I was attending some meetings in Fayetteville and the girls "kidnapped" a bunch of us one afternoon and we just spent a few hours - but it was enough for me to fall in love with the place.
It's an amazing place to explore. The Painted Ladies (Victorian Homes) are fascinating, and walking the sidewalks to tour them is such fun.
WOOHOO! the wait is over another book to read :)
That's right, Jel, and if i remember correctly, you said you would prefer a free book rather than the condo retreat. But you can change your mind if you win!
it would be sweet, but I don't do contest.
have a safe weekend
Woohoo! So glad to know you have another book out! It has indeed been a long time! Is there a medical twist to this one? I'm surprised I haven't seen it offered for a blog tour. :-(
And I love Margaret Daley - she's a sweetheart! Can't wait to read both of these.
Linda, Margaret's great. Yes, there is some medical in this one, too, though it's set in 1901, so not nearly as much. The medical adds some fun tension between two women who become friends...and that's all I'll tell. Mustn't give away the plot! There will be a blog tour, it just hasn't hit yet. It will be with most of my writing friends.
I knew, Jel, that you wouldn't try to travel, and now, walking in your shoes, I understand why. I've canceled travel for the rest of the year.
