Valentine's Day is also my birthday! So this year, DH gave me a subscription for a 6-month knitting club...something I have wanted for a long time. It was not a cheap gift and he had to sacrifice all of his personal spending money for a long time to obtain my gift. If that isn't love, I'm not sure what is!
All I can say is don't send your guy flowers or candy. They get really annoyed. LOL
I never did care for the sprinkles,
now kit~kat is a diff. story! :)

Happy birthday, Ruthie! Sacrificial gifts are so meaningful
Thanks for the tip, Sandie. LOL
Jel, sounds like a great couple of days!
Happy Birthday Ruthie!
Several years ago, my husband went all out and bought me roses and a heart-shaped box of Dove truffles. I complimented him on the truffles, but apparently forgot to thank him for the flowers. I get a heart-shaped box of Dove truffles every Valentine's Day. This year, I received TWO, one all milk chocolate, and the other all dark chocolate. He couldn't remember which one I prefer (I don't have a preference) so he bought both boxes. I love that! We don't exchange gifts for any other holiday. So, this is the only time of the year that he buys something just for me (even though I share them with the entire family).
