Girls Write Out

I just received my advanced copies of The Trouble with Cowboys! Advanced copies are used to get advanced reviews and buzz going about the book, so naturally, I thought of you!

How to Enter the Contest: Leave a comment including:

1. Your email address

2. All the ways you will use your free copy to spread the word. (Reviews on blog, Amazon, CBD, etc; Convince your book club to read it; Tell your friends about it; Tweet and Facebook about it, etc.) Get as creative as you can!

That's it! I'll choose 3 winners and notify them on Wednesday (July 11). Everyone else will have to wait until Oct. 2. :)

Here's a blurb of The Trouble with Cowboys

Annie Wilkerson is Moose Creek's premiere horse trainer and equine columnist for Montana Living.
But when her column is cancelled, she's given first shot at a new lovelorn column--and she can't afford to turn it down. Only problem is . . . Annie's never been in love.

Always resourceful, she reluctantly strikes a deal with the town's smooth-talking ladies' man Dylan Taylor: She'll work with his ailing horse, Braveheart, if he'll help her answer the reader letters.

Working closely with Dylan is harder than Annie imagined, and she quickly realizes she may have misjudged him. But her unwavering conviction that cowboys are nothing but trouble has kept her heart safe for years. And she can't risk getting hurt now. The trouble with this cowboy is that he might just be exactly what she needs.

I can review the book for Amazon and my 47 friends on Goodreads, and even on Facebook.

Also, my MIL reads mostly books based on my recommendation, so it will be a fun read for her too :), which she needs in her role as caretaker for my FIL who's recovering from a severe stroke.

Good news is that we'll read it even if we don't win!

All I have to do is say "Denise Hunter" then everybody snaps to attention. I can put reviews on my blog, Facebook, Goodreads, Amazon, Barnes & Noble. But I have to say in all honesty, I will read and review this book one way or another. I'd just rather do it now than later - no good at waiting!

Looking so forward to The Trouble with Cowboys - Catching up with old friends from the previous books and making new ones. I always lend my paperbacks to friends - kinda have my own lending library. I will write a review on Amazon, tweet about the book and share on Facebook. Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation.

Woo hoo! Denise, your books never fail!

*I would absolutely LOVE to review "Trouble With Cowboys" on my active blog "Erin's Fiction Tidbits", where I publish reviews for several publishers and authors.

*I would also post my honest review on to Amazon.com, Christianbook.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Goodreads.com, etc.

*I also lead a Christian Fiction Book Group at my church and the ladies frequently ask me for my recommendations on novels. I have recommended your books in the past and will continue to do so!

*I am also a part of an active online forum for pastor's wives. Frequently, threads pop up asking for recommendations on books. I would not hesitate to mention your books as I know that they are always positive and uplifting.

Denise, I always choose to buy your books rather than borrow them from the library. When I buy a book, it's because I know that I will be reading it again and again and I will always be lending it out. No matter if you choose me to win an Advanced Copy, your books will always be purchased and sitting on my bookshelf. I know that when I pick up one your novels, I am guaranteed to be uplifted and encouraged once I’m finished.

I just retired after 34 years of teaching and now have lots of time to read good books. If I win, I'll review your wonderful book on fb, amazon, good reads, barnes & noble, tell all of my friends about it, loan it to my mom, sister and daughter to read. I'm also anxious to join a book club and would love to suggest The Trouble with Cowboys for everyone to read and discuss. Thanks for the chance to share your new book. vdurnell@hotmail.com

My Facebook friends already know I'm a faithful reader of your books, but I will remind them again why. I will leave a review on Amazon, recommend it on my blog, spread the word to my famy and friends (who also love your books), and I have a very close friend who lives in South Dakota (which isn't too far from Montana) who owns a cattle ranch with her husband. She has an extremely popular blog about agriculture (she has a degree from Purdue) great for anyone, but many aspects are geared toward women (western recipes, western fashion, cowgirl boots, etc) and she will allow me to read "The Trouble With Cowboys" and then review the whole "Big Sky Series" on her blog. (I already own and have read the first two in the series.)

Whomever you choose, your books are a blessing and I will own a copy even if I have to wait until October :)

So happy to hear that book #3 in the Big Sky series is coming out! I would love to have a copy. I would advertise it on my blog, and put it up on facebook, as well as email and tell friends, via word of mouth. I'm a huge fan, and love to read anything that you write! Oh- and I've also posted Books #1 and #2 of the Big Sky series on Pinterest as must reads! Can't wait to read the new book!

Hi Denise!

First of all, I am in love with this series! I read "The Accidental Bride" in a single day! Couldn't put it down. "A Cowboy's Touch" was incredible too, and that one only took me two days to read! Now, to get down to business...if I won a copy of "The Trouble with Cowboy's" I would start promoting the wonderful book by posting rave reviews on Christianbook, Goodreads, Amazon, Lifeway Christian bookstore, Barnes and Noble, and Borders. I get all my girlfriends hooked on the books I read, and I would definitely promote this one, as well as the other two "Big Sky" romances! I would read it aloud to my co-workers in the down times of these hot summer days, and because the majority of my co-workers are male, this could get interesting. They could use a few romance tips :) I would wear my cowboy hat and blue flannel shirt while reading it aloud, and while I'm reading it myself! And I might as well project a YouTube video of a campfire on the wall and get out the stick horses from the drama department! Gotta create the mood! I would get my cousin reading it too, and she loves romances and she owns a horse! Maybe I'll read it aloud to the horses in the barn, too. I'd promote on Facebook and Twitter using my creative writing skills. I am an English major after all :) I would make certain my church library gets a copy. Your book section is growing rapidly in our church library and people know I've read half the books in that place, so I get asked a lot about good Christian books. Yours are always so uplifting and I love the way you weave together Christ, romance, and action so intricately. Such an inspiration! I buy most of your books since I read them over and over again! The characters are so honest and authentic. Either way, I’ll end up owning a copy of this book somehow! Thanks for all the work you do :)

I would also be able to write a review for Amazon.

I could probably even talk my hubby into reading it and writing a review!

If it's not too late...!

I absolutely LOVE the Big Sky Romance series (not to mention the Nantucket Love Stories... :)), and it would be my pleasure to preview this book and help spread the word. I actually just took The Accidental Bride with me to re-read during our beach vacation. :) You have such a gift of writing; it's amazing how you portray God's love & grace through your characters and stories. And I already can't wait to hear what your next series will be about!

I can help spread the word by posting quality reviews on CBD, Barnes & Noble, Half.com, my newly established blog, etc.

However, if I don't win this time around...I'd like to get in on the "sharing" mentioned by a few on here (Ashley, Mary, Julie)! ;) J/K...sort of. =/ October seems so far away!! Bottom line: I've been looking forward to The Trouble With Cowboys and would be honored to help spread the word. :)
