That's so sweet!!! You and Dave are a precious couple!!
Hubby totally spoiled me yesterday. Did everything I wanted, showered me with gifts and eating out! (My birthday.)
He goes to chick flicks with me and I go to action flicks with him. :-)
But the thing I love most? We hold hands when we fall asleep at night. I am blessed.
Yep, that's Dave! His romantic side shows. Mel says, "Dave's making it rough on all the other husbands."
LOL You've got a keeper, Colleen! Great picture of you two.
The most recent sweet thing Mel did for me was go hiking with me yesterday morning in one of the hottest days of the year. That's love!
My husband is great. As we speak he is making me beef and barley soup! And when I asked if he would make it for me, he said you know I try to get you everything you want...awe! When he is home he does the night time routine with the kids- not a small feat since we have 4- all 6 and under. He always is asking me what do I need. I am blessed!
Oh so fun, Di!!!
Dave does make it hard on husbands, Cheryl. LOL I think he enjoys it. :-)
AW, what a great guy, Theresa! He's a keeper!
Nate gets up with Chloe in the night so his wife who dies without sleep can sleep :)
AND he does the laundry and the dishes AND he takes me out to eat when I don't feel like cooking AND he brings me purses from his trip to Guatemala (purses, I tell ya, purses!) AND he loves me. Sigh. I'm happy. :)
I think the sweetest thing my hubby ever did for me was when I was making the transition from stay-at-home mom and full-time wife to "career woman." It wasn't an easy transition for HIM, but the day he brought me home a beautiful expensive leather computer case, I knew he was showing me that he supported me one hundred percent. (Never mind that my monogrammed initials weren't in quite the right order. LOL!)
I thank that were are very blessed Ladys , to have the Husband that we do :)
Mine, took the day off from work yesterday {4 my bday) and took mom,and me too the park , and drove us around though the back roads, and too spoiled me with stuff. :)
My husband isn't overly romantic but he does give the occasional foot rub and thanks to a wonderful mother in law who taught him well, he does lots of little stuff for me.
He helps with the laundry and dishes and I can't tell you the last time I had to get my own gas. At least several months. I so appreciate those little things he does to make things easier for me. :)
Since I am totally disabled, my husband has to do all the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. In addition, he works and goes to school 3/4 time, making for a lot of homework. With all of those demands on his time and energy, he still takes a few minutes out of his day to just talk...about the day's events, what's for dinner, dreams for a vacation a few years from now, etc. It's a practice he took up years ago when our son was very small. (Our son humorously says that's when we are "busy in the bedroom"!! LOL)
Anyway, with all the things my dear husband does, and after all the nice things he has bought for me, the most romantic gift is his time. I cherish that.
