Well, not off the top of my head, but I love the pic and had to say so! I also love the hope of that kind of on-going relationship with my daughter. She's only 6 1/2 but we are good friends. I hope that continues!
Um, that's pretty crazy Diann. Nope, nobody I know that is living a duplicate existence to mine. :)
You both look beautiful! Here's our coincidences
Kevin's and my dad both have the birthday of June 4. They were born 10 years apart to the day.
Kevin's mom and dad are 4 years and 4 days apart in age, Kevin and I are 4 years and 5 days apart.
Kevin's sister-in-law and I share the same birthday, 10 years apart to the day.
Kevin's mom turned away the first time Kevin's dad tried to kiss her--and I did the same to Kevin. :-)
Thanks, Bev! There's nothing like a great mother-daughter relationship!
You're so right, Sarah. It IS crazy! :-)
Wow, Denise, I think you have the same thing going in your family!
We don't really have much going on with coincidences in our family.
The only thing I think is kind of fun, and really shows that anything goes, happened on my dad's side of the family.
When I was 34, one cousin was 24, and our other cousin was 44, we all had our first babies within about a year. One cousin lived far away and one time when they were babies, we all met and took them to see my grandma, (my dad's mom) who was about 95.
Plus, my grandma had her last baby at age 44.
I love this photo, too. So wonderful.
My husband's mother, Imy, was 20 when his sister was born. Imy was 40 when Chris was born and Melba was 20. So, the three of them are 20 years apart in succession.(Same parents, only Melba and Chris, just a 20-yr gap...)Imy is 91, so you do the math!
My husband and I were married on June 20th. Unknown to my clueless husband (and thus, me) his sister and her husband were married on June 20th. I found out not long after we were married!(we're going to celebrate his sister and husband's 50th wedding anniversary tonight!)
Chris's niece (Melba's daughter) was born 7 days after his 2nd birthday.
Our son, Max, (our 4th son) was born two days after Chris's dad died.
My dad died on the same day as my mother's dad, June 11th, 46 years apart. My parents were married 46 years when my mother died.
My niece(brother's daughter) was born on my mother's birthday, September 1.
There's more...
Wow, how interesting. I just never thought about these things before!
That is AMAZING!! Kara and I are connected emotionally and spiritually in some way. I can hear her voice and even if she's trying to hide it, I can tell if something is wrong. If I develop an allergy, she gets it too. If she gets sick, I get sick. And she's 2000 miles away! LOL It's very weird.
We sound exactly alike too. My mom is the only one who can tell our voices apart on the phone. Even Dave has to listen a minute. One day Kara was home and I hadn't told anyone she was coming so it would be a surprise. Mother called and Kara answered and Mother said, "When did you get home?" LOL
What a lovely picture!
We've got a few of those quirky but true facts with our family. I was born at 4:47 a.m., our eldest daughter was born at 5:47 and our son was born at 9:47 a.m.
Ian was born on a Sunday, Jaime a Monday, Alyssa a Tuesday and Meg on a Wednesday. Our middle daughter was born on her grandfather;s ninetieth birthday. And, drum roll, my first three babies all weighed 7 lbs 14 oz. There's more, but I figured that was enough for now.
BTW, my brother's birthday is also October 17--and he's a transplanted Hoosier:-)
OMG, that's crazy-insane. It made me smile. What a fun relationship.
Have a great day!!
WOW, it's so fun reading all your coincidences, too!!! Isn't it crazy?! LOVE it! Are there any more out there????
I'm really thinking hard here. Let's see...
I was born the day before my mom's grandmother's birthday. Her name was Veda Elizabeth. Mom and dad named me Sarah Elizabeth. Great-grandma thought it was in honor of her, but really my parents didn't realize this was her middle name. They let her think I was named after her.
Coincidentally my dad's grandmother was also named Elisabeth. This also did not factor into the decision of what to name me. Dad's side of the family thought I was named for his grandmother and so always spelled my middle name wrong. My parents let that side of the family think I was named for yet another grandmother. Both went to their graves never knowing the truth.
Those are some amazing facts, Diann!
My brother, who married at the age of 44, chose a bride exactly 10 years to the day older than he was. I was always grateful I didn't have another birthday to remember. :D
They had 20 wonderful years together before she passed away.
WOW those are some crazy similarities.
