Colleen Coble writes romantic suspense with a strong atmospheric element. A lovable animal of some kind--usually a dog--always populates her novels. She can be bribed with DeBrand mocha truffles.

I use Visual Bookshelf on Facebook to let people know what books I'm currently reading, and I rate them when I finish. I love recommending books! The last few I've urged others to read are The Lightkeeper's Bride by Colleen, A Cowboy's Touch, the Four Lindas Series by Melody Carlson, and the Above the Line series by Karen Kingsbury.
I noticed your facebook page is scheduled to be archived. Are you going to create a page or did I miss it? Just wondering. Love you guys, and enjoy your posts on here!
Well, I recommend books on my review blog but am always telling friends and family about the latest books I've loved. At the moment I can't recommend Ronie Kendig's books highly enough. Check out Nightshade, Digitalis and the soon to be released, Wolfsbane.
I'll have to try those Amber-dawn and Rel.
Sheila, we haven't been able to figure out how to update our GWO FB page. Not sure what we're going to do about that.
I love word of mouth. I have always said that fiction readers are terrible gossips. :-D
The author I am recommending the most right now is Mesu Andrews. Her first book is Love Amid the Ashes. Wonderful retelling of the story of Job.
I cannot recommend Siri Mitchell enough.
I started a blog to share authors I love. I think I have four members. LOL. Still, It's one way to get the word out. I call it Sunroom Reflections.
Denise, now you know why I love my job as a librarian. I get to recommend good reads everyday. I consider myself a matchmaker--matching books and readers.
Love all the book recommendations in the comments today! Thank you.
I wear tshirts with Colleen's face on front and her most recent book cover on back. Kidding. Although it is tempting sometimes. More seriously, I just talk you all up - send people to your blog so they can "get to know you". I've had several friends become new readers simply because they went to your blog and said "it was SO NICE to see the real writer behind the book"
As Jaime said, I TALK you girls up~~~ have read books by all of you, loved them all, and made sure my copies went to the church library where many read them! Received Lightkeeper's Ball today so soon as I devour it, will pass it on 'cause those readers are anxiously waiting for it. Sometimes, they say, what else has Denise, Cheryl written??! So I search for used copies of older books! So just keep up the great writing!!
Thanks, Jaime and Jackie!
Barb, I like Siri too.
Thanks for some good sounding recommendations, all!
In addition to you ladies, Dee Henderson is one I suggest to a lot of people--if only she'd write some new stuff. Lynette Eason is great for suspense too.
Erynn Mangum is a young author I recommend for Christian chick lit.
Ally Carter is a great YA author. It's not "Christian" but it's clean and awesome for teens.
I could go on and on.
I use GetGlue to share what I'm reading. That way, I can do it from my phone and it appears on Facebook and Twitter (not to mention the super cute badges I earn!) My favorite author to recommend is Charles Martin. The man has never written a bad book!
You probably already checked this out, but here is Facebook info on upgrading. http://www.facebook.com/help/new/?faq=18786&ref_query=how+to+upgrade+gr
