Girls Write Out

Statistics say we spend an average of 3 to 5 years of our lives waiting. Waiting in line, waiting in traffic, waiting for downloads. With all that time spent waiting, you’d think I’d be better at it. Hmm.

One of my “waits” ended today with the arrival of my author copies of Surrender Bay. I’m not sure a UPS driver can be prepared for an author waiting for her copies to arrive, but I figure she keeps ringing the doorbell, so she knows what she’s in for.

In my wait-is-over euphoria, I’ve decided to share the wealth and give away three copies. Oh, what the heck, let’s make it five. Email me at deniseahunter@comcast.net sometime today. I’ll enter your name in the drawing and email the winners tomorrow (Wednesday). You might not win one, but then again, you might. Then you’ll have to wait for your copy to arrive. :-)

I'm really sad about the baby, Colleen. 17 years later I still think about the one I lost, too.

Denise, I look forward to reading your book! I love the cover. I think it is beautiful.

Life is so like this post today--the sad and the glad wrapped up together and we hardly know which way to turn, but a hug works in both cases, so hugs to you both!
